Community Celebration of Graduates.

This event marks the successes of all those associated with the African Community who have either graduated or will be graduating from high schools and colleges.

This event has become one of AAM’s staple programs. The gathering provides the African Community and Friends of Africa the opportunity to appreciate all our graduates on their hard work and dedication over the past few years. While some will be moving on to the University, others will attend Graduate School, and yet others will aspire to new jobs.  This celebration is our way to encourage our graduates and let them know that our community supports them and will be here for them.

This celebration of our graduates is always special. We always have a guest speaker, who has distinguished themselves in community.

In collaboration with Dr William Bosu, Professor Emeritus - School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and also AAM’s first Board Chair, graduations are presented with personalized Kente stoles.

The event is free and open to all AAM graduates, their relatives, friends and the public. It is an excellent opportunity to network with other professional in the community.

Finally, at this event, AAM’s Scholarship Committee provides information about scholarships which will be awarded to high school seniors in the next summer. These scholarships are funded by AAM members and friends of Africa,  should you wish to make a financial contribution toward the scholarship fund, please feel free to do so. See details the scholarship program.

Join us for our next celebration in spring 2018.
